FluoroSafety’s basic training program accredited for Category 1 CME credit!

The American Association of Physics in Medicine (AAPM), in AAPM Report 124 recommends different levels of training in the safe use of fluoroscopy for physicians.  The appropriate level of training should be dictated by the complexity of the procedures performed and the expected risk of patient injury resulting from those procedures.  Our Basic Training Program provides up to 4 hours of AMA PRA Category 1 CME™ credit through a joint sponsorship with MD Anderson Cancer Center.   This course is appropriate for physicians performing fluoroscopic procedures in orthopedic surgery, general surgery, oral surgery, gynecology, urology, pain management, speech pathology, plastic surgery, gastroenterology, endoscopy and others.
